To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上周日約了家人飯敍,為了遷就居住於中環的親友,這晚就選了離親戚家不太遠的「寶湖海鮮酒家」。其實這間位於租庇利街的「寶湖」,在這區都屹立咗好多年,以前筆者還在附近上班的時候,間中也會和同事來吃午飯,覺得其食物質素也算不俗。由於這晚各人都不想動腦筋點菜,就由老公拍板,選了個 6 位用的「彩龍五福宴」,半席只需 $868,已包茶芥、酸菜及加一服務費,看來也頗超值。頭盤是以伊麵墊底的高湯焗龍蝦,講真其實本人唔算特別愛吃龍蝦,尤其是這次的龍蝦看起來売多肉少,不過就對其伴底的伊麵甚感興趣,皆因伊麵吸收了龍蝦及上湯的精華,入口不單止香滑,吃起來更帶點韌性,口感不俗。至於龍蝦,肉地的確不多,猶幸咬落味道鮮甜,整體都算合格。第二道上的菜式是五福臨門大拼盤,內裡就包括有燒腩仔、燒鴨、涼拌青瓜、海蜇及素鵝。這味拼盤,單看其賣相,絕對稱不上精緻,但整體味道卻是不賴。先講燒腩仔,外皮咬落夠香脆,皮下肉層肥瘦均勻,入口毫不油膩,水準不俗。燒鴨色澤亮麗,肉的質感也不錯,咬落仍帶著肉汁,只是稍嫌外皮不夠脆。爽甜鮮脆的拍青瓜,入口帶著濃濃的麻油香氣,若能多加些蒜粒,相信可令其食味生色不少。餘下的海蜇,油潤清香又有

頭盤是以伊麵墊底的高湯焗龍蝦,講真其實本人唔算特別愛吃龍蝦,尤其是這次的龍蝦看起來売多肉少,不過就對其伴底的伊麵甚感興趣,皆因伊麵吸收了龍蝦及上湯的精華,入口不單止香滑,吃起來更帶點韌性,口感不俗。至於龍蝦,肉地的確不多,猶幸咬落味道鮮甜,整體都算合格。

秘醬彩虹皇后螺片,其實就是以 XO 醬、翠玉瓜、西芹、紅黃椒炒螺片。青嫩的翠玉瓜,搶眼的紅黃甜椒,咬落爽脆非常,配上微辣開胃的XO 醬,味道惹人好感,只可惜螺片質素較参差,部份入口爽得嚟有點韌口。

筆者素來愛吃芋頭食品,初頭見餐單有這味黃金茘茸卷,還滿心歡喜,所以當侍者一放下這道菜時,真是大失所望,黃金色澤在那裡呀?賣相唔得,唯有看看味道如何,當然酥香鬆脆欠奉,而且咬落更毫無芋頭應有的粉綿,活像一團粉般,超難食。

又到每逢吃套餐,例必出場的魚翅,其實筆者一再叫人不要吃魚翅,但自己實在十分慚愧,總未能說服同檯吃飯者以羹代翅,真失敗。幸好這些平價餐,用翅不多,但始終未能身體力行,引為憾事。至於這道紅燒鮑參魚翅,用料當然是以菇絲、海參為主,魚翅為副。其實魚翅本身沒有味道,坊間一眾紅燒魚翅全都是靠湯底帶來色香味,所以落唔落翅,根本毫不重要,而這碗翅做得湯清味濃,味道也算不差。

另一道清蒸海石蚌肉質唔算好滑,而且無乜魚味,豉油味亦太淡,當然不能與東星相提並論,但以特價餐的質素來說,還是可以收貨的了。隨後的瑤柱鮮竹浸翠條,講真瑤柱就唔多覺眼喇,幸而個湯底入口清甜,配上軟滑的鮮竹,爽脆的冬瓜條,味道都幾夾。

當紅脆皮雞,外皮吃起來雖然並不是十分酥脆,幸好雞皮下是零脂肪,入口毫無油膩感,而且下層肉質也算細嫩,咀嚼後還滲出點點肉汁,算是不錯。鳳梨海皇炒飯,配料其實只是簡單的蝦仁配上菠蘿粒,蝦仁新鮮爽口,蛋炒飯粒粒分明,加上鳳梨的酸甜口感,果然簡單就是美。

到了甜品時間的壽包,侍者放上檯時,還熱氣直冒,一看,噢,個子頗的骰,論口感和味道,真的比「東海」出品遜色得多。幸好個包外皮不太厚,白蓮蓉還算軟滑香甜,加埋單尾不太起沙的紅豆糖水合時生果盤,對向來食力有限的我說,真是包得不能動彈呀!
