To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

本人是馬鞍山三和常客,主要是食早餐,$30算錯。碟頭飯食過幾次,普通普通。多款早餐有方飽配搭其他選項食品,如蛋,腸,餐肉等,通常由厨房預備選項,再在厨房大窗口由店員加上預先準備好放在膠袋中的方飽,再拿給客人。幾個月前忽然發現一個叔叔店員徒手(其他店員是用夾拿方飽的)從膠袋拿方飽放在預先有選項食品的碟上,再拿給客人。需知道叔叔跟其他店員一樣,不時拿著枱布抹枱,他們的手有多清潔可想而知。當曰己同收銀店員反映,及後發覺情況沒有改善。今天又去吃早餐,由另一位女店員拿方飽,她也徒手從膠袋抽出方飽,再用夾放在選項食品上!
