To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 有正既食材既任食火鍋真係要搵,呢度咁既價錢底下係我食過最靚既牛,真係物超所值。一坐底好貼心咁上左d小食,有炸燒賣同魚蛋,同樣都係任食既menu上面可以再點。湯底揀咗特選濃厚花膠雞湯鍋,全奶白色白到睇唔到裡面有咩料,非常濃烈既雞湯味,裡面既雞好似點煮都唔會老咁,好嫩滑。我地叫左最貴$279既套餐,有齊三款牛揀,分別係牛板腱,牛頸脊同埋牛小排,全部睇落都好紅無雪死到,牛小排相對肥d,牛味最濃,我自己最鍾意牛頸脊,肥瘦分佈均勻d,唔會感覺肥膩同時又夠軟滑,另外牛板腱都唔錯,雖然少d肥,但牛味一樣濃,仲有一份彈牙爽脆既感覺。紫菜響鈴係估唔到係任食度有,多左紫菜既味道好似少左響鈴既油炸味。水餃同雲吞都有試到,兩隻個皮都好薄,雲吞個皮有更飄逸既感覺,同埋個粒蝦好大粒,好彈牙,而水餃就有埋木耳,口感豐富d。牛丸好彈牙,裡面有肉汁,好香濃既牛味。芝心丸裡面好似有湯汁咁,似溶左既芝士咁。埋單都係三百零蚊一個人,有咁多嘢食2個人自己買返屋企食都差唔多啦。
