To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 知道這餐廳有很多分店,今次到了屯門良景商場試一試,星期日的中午,坐滿人,等了十分鐘便能入座,裝潢設計幾靚,有圓形高枱也有普通卡位四人座,我被安排坐在中間的2人枱,與旁邊的枱相距較近有少許逼。大概等了15分鐘就有得食,兩個人試了慢煮咖喱牛坑腩飯配珍珠飯和蛋黃煙肉卡邦尼長通粉。咖哩食左1,2啖已覺得有點辣,牛坑腩淋身好味,烤過的薯仔配咖哩好好味。相反蛋黃煙肉卡邦尼長通粉較為遜色,沒有卡邦尼的creamy質感,感覺像白汁長通粉,這道菜唯一加分的是配料很多,包括有很多煙肉菇類洋蔥。另外凍檸檬茶的茶底少許苦澀,並不是我喜歡的檸檬茶味道。也許下一次再嘗試其他吧。
