To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 睇完成個lunch menu後,最吸引都係個慢煮咖哩牛,雖然病病地但都照食!到加杯熱奶茶。基本等5分鐘就上菜,就睇擺盤唔多吸引,但牛坑腩份量非常多,成碗咖哩入面有成十幾舊無骨牛腩加幾舊薯仔。先評咖哩,食落微辣,辣味會停於口腔,口感偏厚,加上珍珠米食落唔錯,但如果單食就偏鹹,米飯同咖哩比例可自調,個人覺得較適合重口味人士。再講牛坑腩,因為慢煮關係肉煮到好林,亦入味。但可能因為一大煲煮既關係,有部分牛煮得太耐,肉質變得有少少柴,好可惜。咖哩薯仔,口感好有趣,外皮韌到不得了,但內就幾軟,係唔錯。到熱奶茶,嗯,唔夠香唔夠滑太澀,茶底一般,雖然落多奶但都拯救唔到本質。再選一次我會選擇熱檸茶。總結而言,咖哩牛腩口味偏重發濃,味道非我所偏好。肉質視乎運氣,薯仔口感有趣,奶茶很一般,下次食可能會試其他野食。
