To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 門口廣告寫位無限添食任飲任食.每鮮火鍋除咗送果盤海鮮拼盤之外,可以叫只得鯇魚,鱔片同青口冇其他,咁就唔好寫到任食海鮮咁啦,當我唔睇中間果點,任飲啤酒常溫,玩咩???我叫麻辣雞煲,未見過雞煲係成煲湯浸住牛丸,嚟6粒生山竹牛肉(賣唔晒啲點心俾人打邊爐?)墨魚滑(未見過墨魚滑食落口散晒,成PAT粉咁)最精彩係成晚叫啲嘢都唔知送咗去邊,成個場得3分1人咋,唔係爆場,一入場叫完晒嘢,冇爐,到個爐嚟咗雞煲嚟埋食完啦其他嘢都未嚟,半個幾鐘啦,煲到雞煲啲湯冇晒2次先嚟其他嘢食,食完第一轉再點嘢,啲嘢送咗去第二枱,點解會知?第二枱食緊先聽到果枱人話叫魚皮鮫點解嚟咗水鮫﹐碟水鮫我架,我59號枱隔離39號,仲有枱情侶嚟咗成粒鐘齋煲個煲,冇嘢食到,追咗幾次都冇,聽到有枱話7點鐘點咗啲另外俾錢牛肉,9點都未到,有冇咁離譜呀,仲要成$215一個,駛唔駛差到咁呀,啲嘢已經唔係特別好食,仲要差到咁,想人返轉頭都難呀
