灣仔有很多拉麵店,大王東街的黑鉄屋是其中一間。餐廳以黑白兩色作主調,簡單得來又帶點風格。餐廳一面牆身寫上拉麵由來的簡史,另一面則掛上金黃奪目的獎項「World Selection 2008: Grand Gold Medal」。雖不太了解該獎項的評方準則,餐廳的招牌菜也應有相當水準吧!在眾多拉麵選擇中,點了一碗人氣推介赤兵衛,拉麵湯底以雞湯及北海道有機大豆味噌製成,色澤呈淡赤色,雞湯給力相對不強,味道主要來自味噌,濃郁鹹度合理。配上兩片叉燒,用料比一般拉麵店肥美,食味固然更香口軟腍。流心蛋火喉稍老火,但咬下仍有濃稠蛋汁溢出。菜蔬配料有菠菜、粟米及紫菜。菠菜綠嫩,粟米甜美,紫菜用蛋白印上自家品牌,幾特別。至於拉麵本身,要求普通硬度,出來效果比預期腍身,欠了一份咬口,有點可惜。小食方面,和好友分享了自家製狀員餃子及燒汁帆立貝兩款,狀員餃子菜肉比例一比一,清葱爽口中又帶有腍滑肉香。帆立貝裙邊燒得過硬,燒汁味道亦稍鹹,一般。
