To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天下午去土瓜灣高山劇場陪阿媽看大戲,睇完才未夠六點,近近地找間食店吃過晚飯才離開。從OpenRice找到這間所謂「隱世食店」見佢食^評好好就此一試,叫咗芝麻雞、一字骨及小炒王。原本想叫蒸魚腸怎知店員說要預訂才有。咁我就算沒有試啦。一字骨及小炒王的味道都好,但是芝麻雞就有點失望,冰鮮雞肉,沒什麼鮮味。只是芝麻頗多及雞皮幾脆。食店環境就使人失望,被安排上樓上坐,一張大枱跟其他人客人合併,足足坐成12人。三唔識七咁坐左三台人真係冇癮。還有最使人不快的就是服務員的態度奇差。我心想我們都盡量希望多留港消費去支持香港食肆。怎知香港食肆的經營者好不爭氣,班夥計有心趕客咁款。搭枱的年長女士都有同感,唔識路上樓上問多兩句,更俾樓下阿姐呼呼喝喝,搞到佢都話唔會再有下次幫襯啦。唉!食餐飯啫,搞到大家咁唔高興為乜呢?怪不得啲香港年青家庭咁辛苦都要北上。因為消費得來有勝價比、優越感及滿足感。平民食肆想留住顧客,除咗食物要保持水準外,就要花點心思培訓員工好好待客。不要恃住老店就忘記咗對客人的基本禮貌。
