To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今年爸爸生日,我哋揀咗喺「翠園」食中菜🥢 我哋預訂係十二人套餐,但係安排嘅位置應該只係十人席,而每張枱嘅距離都好貼近,環境真係唔多拈😪以二千蚊左右一個十二人套餐,品質尚算唔錯,尤其個 #花膠雞湯,用料都唔錯,大大舊 #花膠,充滿 #骨膠原🤩 正呀喂!仲有 #蒸龍躉片、#酸甜排骨 都好好味👍🏻 不過最後兩度餸就差咗啲,#生菜炆冬菇 味道麻麻、#海參炒菜苗 外表有啲寒酸,#廚師 將#海參 切成絲,上枱時我仲以為係 #冬菇絲炒菜😅 而 #菜苗 唔嫩,味道苦苦地,成為全晚剩低最多嘅一道菜😉 不過一分錢一分貨,#小秘書 明白嘅!但係 #翠園 裡面實在太迫夾,員工又唔夠,好多時都要等。不過最唔公平嘅係個經理成日掛住照顧後面嗰台壽星公,我哋成晚呆等😪或者因為我哋唔識做,唔識好似人哋咁派利是掛!
