另一餐嘅媽媽節,揀咗去呢間八月花的姐妹店,位於海港城的八月居,新派中菜格局。母親節期間食飯要落訂$500留位,要分兩輪時段,而且係主打套餐,a la carte嘅菜式會有限制,不過去到發覺都唔會太少菜式比你選擇,不過就冇咗平時主餐牌提供嘅中西fusion菜式。1. 前菜 - 鹹脆花生、青瓜、硬豆腐,酸瓜呢樣真係頂唔順,好鹹,結果冇人食剩返哂。2. 脆脆BB豬 crispy barbecued suckling pig - 肥瘦啱啱好,層皮脆到不得了,最重要係肥瘦比例,唔會厚厚嘅一層脂肪,而且肉唔會過鹹仲要非常嫰滑,份量亦都啱啱好,每人只得一舊,伴菜係配咗沙律,中西合壁。3. 柑桔窩巴銀雪魚 deep fried white cod with kumquat on crispy rice - 嫰滑嘅銀雪魚肉,外表用一層薄薄嘅脆粉槳包住,上面搽上用柑桔做嘅果醬再加有柑桔絲,好似食緊西式早餐用嘅果占咁,下面再有脆脆窩巴,又美觀,又可口。4. 花膠瑤柱翡翠蔬 seasonal vegetable with shredded fish maw and conpoy in chicken brot

4. 花膠瑤柱翡翠蔬 seasonal vegetable with shredded fish maw and conpoy in chicken broth - 菜心唔算極之嫰滑,但係算中上嘅,上湯底浸菜唔會令你覺得肥膩,但係將花膠同瑤柱就冇乜口感可言,而且食落口感覺唔到佢地嘅香味,失分。

5. 拔絲咕嚕肉 sweet and sour pork coated with crispy honey - 拔絲就冇,不過個醬汁份量洽到好處,啱啱上滿所有肉,碟底唔見有多餘的,師傅功架可想而知,不過醬汁調較略嫌唔夠酸且唔夠甜,總之一句,唔夠濃,唔夠惹味 ; 再者,舊肉雖然上嘅粉夠薄,但係肉唔知係咪太健康,一啲肥肉都冇,咁樣會欠缺肥肉帶出的甘香味。

6. 火燄威士忌栗子紅棗燴牛仔膝 flaming veal shank with chestnut and red date in whisky tomato sauce - 全晚最好味嘅一道菜,上枱時侍應幫我地用刀叉分開呢個牛仔膝,所以依家見到嘅係啲肉喺哂汁入面,而淨返一條骨企喺度,個汁真係搞得非常好,西式煮法用燒過嘅酒,以生洋蔥同西蘭花作伴菜,牛仔肉質地好似瘦肉咁,超淋超嫰滑,加埋有酒香煮嘅汁,撈飯一流。

Comments: 以今晚嘅款式,同一般美心中菜冇分別,要試佢地中西合壁嘅fusion菜,相信要平日去至有機會品嚐了。
