To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 有機會黎試試美心旗下另一間中菜廳:潮庭。兩個人六道菜,為大家介紹下...1. 自選潮州拼盤 ($272)我地揀咗油浸帶子、炸蟹棗、鵝片、海蜇。留意叫呢道菜至少要四人分量。以上圖片就係呢個份量,四個人食應該剛剛好。味道都OK架!2. 芋粒鹹肉炒飯 ($98)有芋頭既關係,令到個飯食落更飽肚。味道不過不失,普通炒飯感覺咯⋯3. 銀線炒小豆苗 ($88)作為豆苗粉絲,每次食美心中菜必叫:一定唔會失望。呢度既小豆苗份量夠,好惹味,但又唔會好油好膩。讚!4. 梅焦醬烤骨 ($98)份量唔太多,但勝在味道搭救。醬汁惹味,用黎送飯就最正!我同朋友飯後仲叫咗兩道甜品:蛋白杏仁茶($30)同水晶包($28)。味道都麻麻地,唔推介。當日我地平日夜晚黎,啲檯八成滿但人手唔夠。等左一陣先有人過黎落單同加水。整體黎講,原價咁食就免啦。如果有指定信用卡就可以試一試
