Highly authentic soy sauce chicken with rice 😎 from a newly opened inconspicuous food space in Wan Chai. The portion size is larger than expected 😄 although it comes served in a bowl rather than a plate, making it look tinier than it really is. The soysauce is the definite highlight — rice soaked in somewhat sweetened soy sauce that's considered a signature of HK 碟頭飯 (basically any commonplace rice you find in local hk restaurants) Chicken to rice ratio is around 4:6 😙 I'd love to have larger pieces of chicken, they're not super tender but are luckily soft enough 😀 I think the diced sour turnip on top adds an exotic touch but they're just a tiny bit too sou
