To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

金仔最近新裝修完，店面新淨企理，但食物質素仍然未改善。今早入去試佢個早餐，嗌左一份蕃茄餐肉通粉配腸仔太陽蛋及多士、熱奶茶一杯，味道十分普通，尤其係蕃茄湯底令人最失望，雖然睇上去賣相唔錯，但其實味道淡如水，一啲蕃茄湯嘅感覺都無......服務方面，以為新裝修完會有所改善，但原來同裝修前一樣水平，侍應對客人招手視而不見；食客出去攞水時，水機又係壞嘅，真係想問一句：食客嚟食野，自行斟水都算，但水機居然壞左，咁好心餐廳就主動少少俾杯水人客啦......總括一句：服務及食物質素需改善，否則只有一次客，唔會有回頭客。
