After a short walk arriving Sok Kwu Wan, we decided to have a quick late lunch before catching our 4pm ferry. It was used to be one of most popular restaurants provided seafood meals at reasonable price. However this was a bad experience and confirmed that should be my last visit. We placed our “light” order reminded we have to leave in 75mins. Our first dish came 30mins later but our other dish gone nowhere so I reminded the waitress - she stared with her bright eyes emphasising my reminder is a nonsense as it’s still to early to chase. Then 5mins later another waitress came said our dish is sold out (not sure why it was not told within first 30mins), I then ordered another dish which said to be a faster one. Another wait until 20mins no sign and it’s approaching the ferry time. The waitress’ attitude is so bad said I can cancel the order but need to leave in 5mins! Although I won’t want to stay long, I don’t think it’s a right attitude to a customer even it’s just a “light” order (as we didn’t ordered lobster/ crab am sure it’s the reason). Finally we left with a service fee of $20/ person plus 10% service charge, totally $150 for a plate of crunchy fried rice! I won’t visit this restaurant anymore with such poor service and am sure other restaurants or even cha chan tang will have better food quality and service or treatment to customers than here!!!
