To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

真心好難食，服務亦都麻麻哋，有一位服務員堅持要喺我手上取走取餐單，我話我未攞完喎，佢都堅持要拎走，於是將件衫浸咗落去我嘅沙嗲牛肉麵嗰度，又要重新做過俾我，浪費食物，反蛋牛扒，整咗兩次出嚟都係太陽蛋，又係浪費食物，大量一個人坐四人位嘅情況，反而帶住小朋友的四個人無位坐要企喺度等，亦冇服務員幫手，食物方面，蛋又好乾，魚柳冇味，又冇沙律醬，仲要凍冰冰，牛扒乾噌噌，刺極都切唔開，沙嗲牛麵還可以接受，但係啲牛肉都係好乾。頂級嘅裝修最劣等嘅食物，是商業策略嗎？
