To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日和媽媽吃西式早餐,過一個悠閑的周末上午,吃得多港式茶餐廳,今日帶他去吃西洋早餐。早上九時,已經坐滿,多數外籍人士嘆咖啡,亦有一家大小,唔飲咖啡都有好多新鮮果汁揀。呢度有名式各樣的麵包,亦見有很多人買長法包回家品嚐。望住餐牌啲字太細,媽媽叫我幫她叫,她有高血壓和高膽固醇,所以叫了蛋白奄列加煙三文魚,指定的配料例如番茄、青椒、菠菜、蘑菇、洋蔥、車打芝士和軟芝士等。而我這個經常將減肥掛在口邊的人,叫了煎雙蛋及多士配烤蕃茄,再來一杯齋啡。
