To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 星期天,和幾位好友一起去南丫島登高,天色很藍很美,由三點行到七點,沿途經過幾間小店,十分寫意,行到咁上下,眾人也肚餓了,越是去天虹吃海鮮餐。我哋一行五人,叫了以下菜式1-椒鹽豆腐:豆腐很香很滑,很有鑊氣,飲酒一流,正!2-白灼中蝦:因為價錢關係冇叫最大嘅,但我反而覺得白灼嘅話呢個size最好,因為唔太大隻,可以一口食,蝦肉好爽,唔需要點任何醬汁都好鮮味3-XO醬炒螺肉:一啲都唔韌,好彈牙,XO醬幾香,但我鍾意濃味一點,再辣一點就prefect!4-蒜蓉炒白菜仔:唔知係咪環境嘅影響,我真係覺得白菜仔係甜啲嘅,不過呢個菜式相對簡單,比較穩陣5-椒鹽鮮魷:全場最令人有驚喜的菜色,原本只諗住叫一個送酒嘅小食,但係反而係全場我覺得最好食嘅菜,味道很夠,炸粉很薄皮,鮮魷很爽!5分鐘唔到全碟清晒6-椒鹽鮑魚仔,我哋揀咗隻貴啲嘅澳洲鮑魚,其實個味好好,但就係因為太香口,反而鮑魚嘅味就冇咁突出,可能鮑魚都係陳皮清蒸最好,鮑魚本身好林好林,好易咬,比起大連鮑魚係好食啲7-豉椒蟶子皇,近乎係我都海鮮餐嘅必食之選,呢間做得好好味,蟶子一啲都唔難咬,好爽口豉椒味好香!8-蝦膏炒飯,呢個係唯一美中不足嘅菜式,因為

8-蝦膏炒飯,呢個係唯一美中不足嘅菜式,因為啲蝦膏仲未查得散,所以食食吓會好鹹,個抄飯底其實炒得好香好乾身,有點浪費了(呢個我冇影相呀,因為我去左洗手間,飯俾人分咗了,Lol)
