To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

譚仔三哥米線原來跟譚仔雲南米線同屬一家,在港開業僅十餘年,後來兄弟在經營上抱有不同意見,各自分拆經營。兩店各樹一幟,卻各自精彩,僅開業10多年,以譚仔兩仔為首的米絲店已超過100家,開托了米線食肆的風潮,在這十年間亦不少形式相同的米線店陸續開幕,米線及店鋪數目,已跟雲吞麵店、魚蛋粉店及牛腩粉店等平起平坐,成為香港粉麵介的四大台柱,本篇主角譚仔三哥在全香港便有着55分店,在米線界別食肆中有着最多門市。每隔一段時間總想重温譚仔三哥的味美米線,原因為二,第一,他們出品的米線很煙韌,繞具彈性,有點意大利麵的Al Denti 口感(註: 即中心有一絲還未熟透) ,繞有嚼勁!第二,他們的麻辣湯底,具麻辣的風味,卻沒有一層我等怕肥食客望而卻步的厚厚紅油。
