Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 之前在旺角店連等位的機會也沒有, 得知中環開了分店, 特意在放大假的日子到訪。因為已過了2點午飯時間, 故不是太多人輪侯, 但也位無虛席, 約等了15分鐘才有位。幸好我們3位被安排坐在長枱末端, 沒有太擠迫的感覺, 反觀坐在枱中間的食客, 都覺得他們吃得不太自在點心很快送上, 每碟都熱辣辣, 讚!酥皮焗叉燒包-皮脆包軟, 餡多冇肥肉, 但略嫌醬汁偏甜杞子桂花糕-陣陣桂花香味, 感覺清新免治牛肉腸-皮滑但不夠薄,牛肉餡混有芫茜香, 唯覺豉油不夠味鮮蝦燒賣-賣相與店內照片不符, 食唔到有蝦, 無乜特別蝦餃-皮唔算薄但勝在唔黏牙, 蝦夠爽口彈牙, 好過好多酒樓既出品咸水角-炸到漲卜卜, 皮脆煙韌, 餡料豐富, 我最喜歡這個鳳爪排骨飯-本來點了糯米雞, 但因售罄無緣享用, 以這個補上, 隻鳳爪幾入味, 其他一般般以這價錢來計食到如此水準的點心, 尚算低食, 感覺師傅用心製作, 值得支持! 唯一要彈的是要與其他人共用一壺普洱茶(我唔鍾意飲普洱), 還要收每位$3茶錢, 扣分
