To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

疫情恆常化後，週末去港島一如既往行山運動。炸醬麵、墨魚須麵是此店的招牌食品。味道、價錢是性價比的。可惜堂食的入座安排待改善。可以說是沒有安排，四人一檯。人數跟政府防疫規矩是沒錯的，但是…多數食客是二人同行或者一人。全部搭檯安排，而且店裏一塊隔板都沒有。譬如某大米線連鎖店都有流動式隔板，當有人搭檯員工就移塊隔板在適當位置。食客也吃得安心。明白到傳統小店經營困難，但基本動作就算做樣都應該做，萬一有人搭檯的陌生人當中有新冠肺，後果不堪設想。
