To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

乘船回到市區已近八點,下午吃過的美食實在太過精彩,晚飯想簡單一點,便走進位於機利文新街的源興茶餐廳,貪其鄰近巴士站,食飽可立即乘車回家。這間廿四小時營業的茶餐廳,共設有兩部平面電視,店內播著 ESPN 的體育節目,方便一眾波友通宵睇波,店外則是無線電視,由於當時正播著食神滔的飲食節目,遂決定在餐廳外的空地用餐。等了一會,先來的是常餐,這個鮮茄湯底豬扒通粉 ($28),豬扒浸在湯內,肉質無可避免地較淋身,但將原個番茄切成兩半,加配合尚算鮮甜的湯底,雖沒同區勝香園做的好,也算是有所交代,合格有餘。 至於另一道蝦醬干炒牛河 ($28) 則空有創意,加入蝦醬炒製時有點重手,味道實在過鹹,油光滿佈河粉上,明顯是鑊氣不足,故效果只是平平。至於跟餐的凍朱古力,因個人口味要了少甜,味道相對較淡,是預計之內的。這間位於中環寫字樓區的茶餐廳十分注重衛生,所有餐具都浸在熱開水中,保証乾淨,絕對值得一讚;而餐廳老闆也相當好傾,一邊看新聞提要,一邊對青少年騎劫的士高談闊論,巷仔頓變「城市論壇」,地道風味十足,找個晚上來這裡吃吃小菜應該是個不錯的主意!
