今日同朋友去完中,上環覓食,由懷舊菜式,食到至潮fusion菜,最後一站就選擇咗位於西營盤嘅GEES。GEES嘅設計簡約,亦帶點型格。下層由幾張Bar枱組成,適合放工後happy hour輕鬆吓。Appetizer, French Foie gras combo,鴨肝有兩種煮法,第一款係凍食,入口即溶,肝味中帶點brandy 香味,配合酸酸甜甜嘅洋蔥,味道突出。第二款係香煎煮法,外層煎得香脆,裡面流心,配合埋煮過嘅菠蘿,令油膩感減低。第二款appetizer係 GEES Crab cake, 蟹餅非常足料,有一梳梳嘅蟹肉,裡面有薯蓉,配埋伴碟嘅千島汁,同茄膏紅椒醬汁,令蟹肉鮮味更突出。湯係Mushroom and chicken consomme,湯嘅色澤清澈,加Sherry酒,令湯更加清甜。蘑菇雲吞精緻,加上黑松露片,提升獨特香氣。不得不讚是盛湯的器皿加熱了,令雞湯時刻保持温暖。主菜有US prime dry aged Sirloin。西冷牛扒經乾式熟成,牛味更加突出。伴菜有烤脆薯仔,另外有健康嘅自家黑蒜,黑蒜健康有益,口感煙韌,酸酸甜甜,作為牛扒伴菜真係第一次見。最後係甜品,Wa

最後係甜品,Walnut雪糕合桃味濃郁,牛奶味重,超級好食。至於creme brulee雖然雲呢拿味香濃,可以見到一粒粒雲呢拿籽,並不是香精,但略嫌忌廉不足,不夠細滑,有進步空間。
整餐晚餐感覺相當滿意,寫意嘅環境,加上優秀嘅美食,無論同情人慶祝,同三五知己相聚,GEES都係一個好嘅Choice。
