To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日好開心, 可以去食素食自助餐, 百零蚊嘅晚餐, 就可以食到全面嘅營養, 又好味嘅食物。 我鍾意食嘅味道 ,係食物嘅原味為主, 而唔係添加嘅調味料, 所以呢度嘅自助餐就啱曬我啦。 首先呢度係全素食 ,90分鐘足夠喇 。一開始就飲返碗清潤嘅湯水, 木瓜紅蘿蔔湯 ,好甜好潤, 又夠熱。 跟住就開始不同顏色嘅營養攝取 。紅色, 有紅椒 ,紅菜頭 ,蕃茄。 黃色 ,有雞蛋 ,雞蛋都分 炒蛋 ,鹵水蛋。 綠色特別多, 有大芥菜, 靚靚菜心, 好嫩嘅窩筍 。紫色當然係茄子 。黑色有冬菇 ,雲耳 。橙色 當然係有橙 ,有木瓜。 白色有椰菜花,淮山, 有大量不同嘅豆製品。 吸收唔同嘅營養, 喺植物唔同嘅部分。 例如葉,花, 梗 ,種子, 果實 ,最意外嘅就係呢度竟然有栗子食, 好開心, 食咗好多粒。 最健康嘅食物呢度都有, 例如羽衣甘藍, 西蘭花 ,椰菜花, 番薯 ,南瓜等。 甜品都唔少㗎 ,紅豆糕 ,馬拉糕, 仲有芝士撻 ,蛋白質 ,纖維, 碳水化合物 ,樣樣兼備 ,營養齊全 ,顏色鮮豔 ,喺香港食素都可以非常豐富美味。
