During a relaxing Saturday afternoon, I came with my friend for a long and chatty Japanese lunch. Before our meal arrived, two appetisers were given which are salad with sesame seed dressing and wasabi octopus. The lettuce was fresh and crispy and was very appetising with the nutty sauce. For the wasabi octopus, we particularly liked the fresh and slimy octopus with a strong kick of wasabi taste to it. The crunchy texture from the octopus legs were just addictive! Can we have more please? Left :

Right: plum liquor ($68 per glass)
They were both good but I personally preferred the yuzu liquor more which delivered a strong taste in alcohol while the plum liquor was a bit sweeter and more like just the Japanese plum wine.

The set comes with a halved red fish fillet, a bowl of steamed white rice and a bowl of hot Miso soup. The size of the fish was a bit bigger than I expected!

The matcha was semi sweetened with a prominent sweet matcha flavour with subtle bitter aftertaste. The sweet red bean was like an icing on the cake, never to be missed.
