To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今日過去長沙灣做野，落去樓下見到有間車仔麵店，本以為只有外賣，原來裏面有堂食，即刻跟同事入去坐低食碗麵。車仔麵餸有很多款，除了滷味、還有多款素菜；另外還有飯及小食等，價錢合理。我要了碗泰國粉絲配冬陰功湯底，粉絲份量十足，而且很爽口，食到最後都唔會腍。蘿蔔炆得夠腍。竹笙吸收了湯底酸辣味。辣腩肉肥瘦均勻，炆得夠腍又不會太多肥膏。朋友就要了豬骨湯底配麻辣汁，稻庭烏冬不及粉絲好味。辣魷魚爽脆。豬手炆得入味但可以再腍多人少少。豬軟骨煮得入味，入口溶化。魚餅彈牙。最後飲返杯檸樂解渴。
