一連數天的中秋假期剛剛過去,人卻仍沉溺於假日的歡樂當中。假後首天相約阿姨逛街吃自助餐,選的是沙田帝都2+2Café。帝都一直都是沙田友吃Buffet首選,貪其位置便利之餘食物水準不俗,新推出的「味遊東南亞」以星馬泰菜為主打,正合阿姨的心意。致電查詢下得知,除了全時段(18:00-22:00)外還設兩輪優惠時段,分別是首輪(17:45-19:45)及次輪(20:00-22:00)。選了第一優惠時段($418),同樣的美食,卻比光顧全時段($598)便宜得多。跟阿姨早早到達,這時段人客不多,該是長假期的後遺症吧!及後也有七、八成滿,比起假日,平日光顧自助餐感覺更自在舒適,輪候Live Counter時間也大大減少了。每次吃自助餐總不免會眼闊肚窄,還是先走一圈再作決定吧!既以東南亞特色美饌作主打,最想先試的當然是我最愛的泰式食品!燒烤區以泰式烤肉海鮮作主打,串燒還配有多款醬汁,非常吸引!熱葷區向來備受冷落,這兒的熱葷卻有不少東南亞特色菜如馬來貴刁、泰式豬頸肉、青咖哩、辛辣魚等。主食區供應海南雞飯,還有即制的喇沙。甜品區有兩大亮點,分別是即做班戟和榴槤甜品,必試!除了東南亞特色菜外,更有無限量

近年較注意飲食健康,先以田園沙律作開端,這兒的即製沙律吧選擇多樣,沙律菜新鮮爽甜。喜歡吃麵包的阿姨就以麵包配不同芝士,芝士質素有一定水準,配上咸香風乾火腿相當可口。

生蠔,是自助餐必殺技,近年卻因食安問題少有出現在自助餐桌上了。這兒供應的是美國生蠔,蠔種是太平洋石蠔。由專人開蠔確保新鮮,供應也是源源不絶。雖然季度未至,生蠔未算肥美,但蠔身偏爽,吃着很有蠔香,很受食客歡迎。

凍海鮮當中,最喜歡的是長脚蟹和青口,蟹脚肉多鮮甜、青口十分肥美。長假期間飯局吃過太多海鮮了,對這部分興趣不大淺嚐就好刺身區有三文魚、呑拿魚、鯛魚、醋鯖魚、八爪魚,都是大路的刺身款式,件件新鮮厚切,也不錯吃。

阿姨則鍾情於粉麵Live Counter,可選不同口味的粉麵和佐料。喇沙湯頭帶濃濃椰香辣度不高,米粉口感煙靱,味道不錯。海南雞雖屬冰鮮貨色,但肉質能保持嫩滑,可以收貨,飯的質感過於軟稔,口感只屬一般。海南雞飯雖屬一口份量,但若然能走飯只吃雞件便最好不過了!

泰味菜式雖然吸引,其實熱葷同樣吸引,但始終胃納有限,只能淺嚐了。推介馬拉盞飛天通菜,雖然至此已是半飽狀態,但不要小看錯過這通菜,炒得鑊氣十足香嫩入味,比起其他葷菜更具魔力

甜品區供應的是一般自助餐常見的切餅、奶凍,吸引度不高滑溜豆腐花反而成為大熱。不過泰式甜品當中有人見人愛的榴槤甜品,很受食客的歡迎。推介椰汁芋頭西米糕軟滑的凍糕渗岀椰奶和芋香,好吃!

整個主助餐的亮點,就是在這即製甜品Live Counter。有班戟和窩夫選擇,可選不同配料和口味,還可選配Haagendazs雪糕球!選了芒果斑蘭班戟配綠茶芝麻雪糕。斑㦸皮煎得透薄,裹着半溶的忌廉香甜芒果,然後澆上花生巧克力醬和黑白巧克力脆碎,再貪心地加上兩球雪糕。斑㦸帶淡淡班蘭香,加上豐富多樣的配搭,整個配搭美味得不行,成為甜品當中的亮點。若然不是吃得太飽,真想多吃上一回呢!
