To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

D字頭外賣App最近做「大折日」，每天有兩家食肆半價。上星期全民瘋搶 7-11 （又真的划算，連買電芯都半價），今個星期的焦點應該是星期一、二的元氣壽司半價。因為半價，晚餐訂單差不多60分鐘才送達。訂了兩盒共70多件壽司（折後$350）、一盒刺身拼盤（折後$98）、兩件蛋糕（折後$11和$12.5）和一個手卷（折後$14.5）。全單折實價差不多$500了。元氣的外賣包裝值得一讚：保冷袋之外有封條，是機場安檢那種封條（就是一撕掉便會撕裂，沒法重貼的那種）。感覺對食物質量比較有保障，吃得安心！餐具、醬油非常充裕，雖然未必環保，但總勝過不夠用啊！食物質素大抵和堂食沒兩樣，當然，軍艦壽司的紫菜沒法保持脆口了、灸燒壽司也沒有即燒的微溫⋯⋯
