To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 傍晚時分,去了沙田的「富臨漁港」吃晚飯。我們三人先來一個「金銀菜燉白肺湯」靚湯火喉十足,金銀菜煲得相當軟腍,白肺真的養顏潤肺,加上雞腳豬肉,湯底濃厚,就渴下一大湯碗。主菜之前的「蠔皇八頭鮑魚扣金錢」味香四溢,鮑魚肉質結實,新鮮爽彈,冬菇頗有嚼頭,撈起蠔皇,口感豐富。隨後三個主菜分別上枱啦!「鐵板雙蒽爆手切鮮牛肉」的鮮牛肉手切得薄薄片片,由鐵板雙蒽爆起,肉味濃郁,非常醒胃。至於「蝦乾肉碎煮涼瓜」內的涼瓜炆得入味,軟硬適中,蝦乾惹味,與肉碎同吃,味道很配。由「燒汁野菌炒花膠」餸上白飯;花膠大塊之餘炆得爽脆腍滑,野菌入口黏稠,燒汁濃味但不過滯;整體上工料皆佳,豐腴鮮美。每人嚐試「生煎菜肉包」;烘過的熱包鬆軟,內夾肉球,非常足料,加上濃郁的汁,好惹味!「富臨漁港」位於沙田娛樂城,交通方便,食物水準甚高。而職員態度友善,價錢又合理,值得光顧呀!🤡🤡
