下午茶時間,去到商場附近王老吉。平時王老吉都是去喝涼茶的,今天被王老吉一鍋熱呼呼的茶葉蛋吸引住,茶葉蛋鍋四處飄散著滷汁香,香氣四溢~茶葉蛋$14/3 or $5/1,價錢雖然不算便宜,但都忍不住和友人買了三隻來試下,坐下來堂食。茶葉蛋滷到啡黑色的,看得出浸煮時間掌握到位。蛋殼非常之熱辣辣,慢慢小心地剝開啡黑色蛋殼,蛋殼輕輕一剝就碎,不過指甲都不小心染上啡黑色。然後發現獨門茶葉滷汁已經滲透到將蛋白與蛋黃滷成褐色蛋白,滲透了淡淡的像石紋般茶色。蛋白吃得出些許的藥材味,且並沒有因長時間熬煮而變硬。一口接一口,滷香之下,不乏回甘之味,鹹度適中 。蛋黃相當綿密及入味,全熟的蛋黃反而令其蛋香顥得更濃,滿口蛋香。友人更說比台灣便利店所吃的茶葉蛋還好吃,香港的較為偏向茶葉味。不過茶葉蛋屬於高胆固醇的食物,空閒時過過口癮就夠,不能多吃﹗
