To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 牛角烤肉竟然跟素食者扯上關係?不說不知,原來牛角日本燒肉專門店有素食燒烤,而且已經推出蠻久,不過應該很少素食者專門去吃而已,一起跟我這個大鄉里去八卦一下吧。現在下午茶時間有折扣,外面超多人排隊,而且聽講越夜越多人,看來香港人真的好喜歡吃烤肉。不過大鄉里我本人才第一次來牛角。 膳良豬拉麵 HK$52 / 味噌膳良豬青瓜 HK$29等烤肉的時候,可以先吃些不用燒的小菜,餐廳最近也引入植物性「豬肉」 Omnipork,這個植物肉的好處是它本身沒甚麼味道,可以自由調味。如圖中三個新豬肉吃起來都不同味,帶甜的味噌新豬肉青瓜意料之外合得來,清新開胃。 辛辣味噌膳良豬凍豆腐 HK$29這個凍豆腐超好食,上面的辣肉醬吃起來好刺激,我和肉肉子爭著吃。 未來漢堡扒 HK$68 / 迷你沙律 +HK$18「烤肉」的主角來了!原來是原塊 Beyond Meat 拿來烤,久沒來燒肉店的人覺得很新奇,這塊素扒可以hold住自己的形狀,烤起來也不會太困難,你還可以自己控制生熟度,想吃半生熟的 Beyond Meat 也以啊 XD。
