To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

九龍城不一定是泰菜的天下，德昌便是區內貼地名店之一，當中最人氣的是手打魚蛋。平日雖然毋需排隊，但店內食客也不少。外觀看就跟傳統的麵店無異，看餐牌價格亦平實親民。魚蛋魚片河($45)潮式白魚蛋帶淡淡魚香，彈牙不死實地味道自然，而魚片要比魚蛋彈牙一些，水準中上。湯底較為寡淡，撒上蔥花冬菜還好，要辣油來提味。柱候牛腩米($40)牛腩炆得入味，特愛那稔滑的牛筋，加上腩汁湯頸不會太寡淡。奶茶($19)對麵店的茶水檔不會有太多期待，意外地奶茶還不錯，茶底夠濃。作為區內老字號，德昌出品合格有餘，可以一試。
