To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 每年八月都有梗有一次「八月之星飯局」,今年亦不例外,早前偶然同亞女去將軍澳中心行商場(甚少出杛水將軍澳),發現有不少新鮮食肆,所以決定今年「八月之星飯局」在這裡搵食。老公話想食北京填鴨,最後決定在這食肆,本來想book位,但原來這食肆只有walk in無book位的,唯有5:30就出發去攞位,仲download 咗個Apps: The GULU 攞飛,竟然比我攞到D002🤩,大約6:00去到都要等,等咗大約40分鐘就有位,不過今日係星期六,食用時間有限:90分鐘。入坐後立即點菜,叫咗:一隻北京填鴨小龐包糖醋小排骨蒜泥白肉茶樹菇炒青菜苗酥炸日本生蠔金華火腿鮮菌炒飯可能有限時,所以上菜都算快,可惜食品不夠熱辣辣,似乎是預先煮好,不過味道不錯。最後大家都滿足而回,有機會應該都會再來,試埋其他菜式😊
