若不是阿姨邀約,也不知金鐘Conrad金葉庭有提供假曰早上9:00至11:00的任食點心buffet!印象中,去過數次飲中午茶,點心水準高,但最平宜的點心也要50多元一客(此價錢當年來說應較夏宫及萬豪中菜更高一些),心想會不會很多限制及很少選擇?內心卻又十分期待及興奮,真的很久沒有這種感覺了!去到先點茶,某些茶種如鐵觀音及普洱要另外加錢,我們則叫了菊花及香片,再從特製餐牌選點心,粥粉麵飯及甜品,直接請侍應下單便可。比較過中午正價餐牌,只剔除去燒味,小食及部份甜品,選擇仍多。金箔蝦餃賣相奢華,是回本之選,蝦肉大大粒,鲜味彈牙。豆漿梅菜叉燒包是金葉庭名物,咬下鬆軟雪白的包身,會嚐到淡淡的豆漿香味,叉燒餡混入甜梅菜後,更滋味,也吃到多多叉燒粒,不會只有汁及肥膏粒。鮑魚燒賣入口後,感覺平平無奇,可能是由於放上面的鮑魚片太薄,口感較腍吧,拌些XO醬會較惹味。素菜餃皮薄料多,由於餡料乾爽,很清楚吃到各種碎丁蔬菜的天然甜味,唐芹,紅蘿蔔,香菰,青瓜粒等,都各自展示自身的美味,又同時併攏在一起互相提鮮,這兒的素菜餃可能是本港吃過最好的,家人在last order時,一再encore。黑松露下得輕,幽幽

不說可能不為意,現在很難找到菠蘿叉燒包的了,找到的只是墨西哥或酥皮叉燒包(添好運),又或是菠蘿奶黄包(珍寶),因是即點即焗的關係,表皮熱辣香脆,內部的叉燒餡也熱燙,簡直是人間美味,每人也吃了兩個。

也點了兩蒸小碟,分别是梅子排骨及粉絲鮮魷,梅子排骨是真正的排骨,連着骨頭的肉是份外香濃的,加上酸酸的梅子和紅椒絲,簡直百吃不厭。蒜蓉蒸鮮魷超級厚身爽脆,花令其漂亮之餘,亦能更易熟透,墊底的粉絲盡吸鮮魷及蒜蓉的味道,不可小覷。

煎蟹盒是較期待的小食,但上桌時心即一沉,因看見脆皮面油份極多,咬下去雖然脆口,但餡料没有丁點兒蟹肉鮮味,反而只吃到蝦粒。

蘿蔔絲酥餅賣相靚絕,酥皮層次分明,內裡金華火腿蓉咸香及清甜白蘿蔔絲搭配一流,吃時要較小心,因餡料仍冒出白煙。

吃過點心後,便要迎接中國的飲食四大發明粥粉麵飯了,每款也是逐位上的,由於尚要留肚吃甜品及不浪費食物,故只點了鮑汁冬菇麵及金葉庭招牌炒飯各一碗大家分享。鮑汁麵的廣東雲吞麵蛋味濃,爽口彈牙,吃後不會有嚡脷嚡牙的感覺,不過鮑汁味不突出,與普通蠔油汁差不多。反而,招牌炒飯真的是名不虚傳,飯粒分明,下了豐富的松子,石班肉,瑤柱,蛋白,菜粒等,材料與飯粒幾乎一比一,食材在口中輪番出埸組成不同口感,又香又脆又軟又爽。

最後當然預留胃部放兩碗回本芒果布甸,心形葉狀的布甸,優雅地放在金盤上,與中菜廳的名字太襯吧!布甸質感雖滑及挺身,但入口芒果味欠奉,只能找到一兩粒芒果肉,萬豪中菜做得出色太多了。
幸而,我們没有錯過蛋白杏仁茶,亦因太好吃,竟然在吃完後,才記得未拍照,杏仁茶的杏香幽淡,茶露清滑,舌頭像浸潤在温泉般,口腔有一種說不出的洗滌感,之前味蕾的所有冲擊,一掃而空,感覺舒服。
