After multiple failed attempts at trying to get a seat here at After You, I finally managed to try out their famous kakigori! 🍧 Really wanted to try out their best seller mango sticky rice kakigori but they were already sold out 🥲Pic 1️⃣&2️⃣: Thai Tea Kakigori - $138 hkd 🇹🇭🫖 — Another one of their best sellers and a definite must try! It’s great that the ice is also not overly sweet and shaved to an extremely fine texture that makes it so easy to eat! The flavours are even more prominent with their Thai tea syrup which is slightly too sweet for me, but definitely intensifies the flavours.
I personally wasn’t a fan of the bread cubes inside of the kakigori, as the texture felt a bit like I was eating a wet sponge 😂 The grass jelly on the other hand, seemed like a better match texture wise but it was really sweet.

— Really enjoyed this flavour combination that’s hard to go wrong with! The milk flavoured shaved ice was a bit too bland but luckily, this was saved by the delicious and tangy strawberry sauce that runs down. I loved the cheesecake chunks hidden inside the shaved ice as it’s simply a match made in heaven! Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a more refreshing and fruity experience!
⭐️Would visit again?: Probably if the lines weren’t that long 😂
