This was a Food Tasting Event long time ago. Totally 10 or 12 ppl attended. It was my first time to come to OLIVE, the place is clean and cozy.We all had 4 courses set, appetizer + main course + dessert + wine. Since we have more than 10 ppl, we just ordered different things to share, so we can taste some of each. Starters: Olive’s Mezze - Silky Hummus, Smoky Baba Ganoush, Cheesy Pastries, Pickles and Olives, Flat Bread
Lebanese Style Fattoush Salad with Avocado and Smoked Atlantic Salmon Pan-fried Calamari with Warm Broad Bean Salad, Cumin, Mint and Lemon
Baked Lamb Meatballs Stuffed with Almond Butter and Cucumber Tzatziki
Main Courses: Moussaka - Traditional Greek Lamb and Eggplant Casserole Baked with Haloumi Preserved Lemon and Mushroom Risotto with Slow Cooked Egg and Hazelnut Dukkah Char Grilled Chicken Kebabs, with Jeweled Rice Pilaf and Garlic-saffron Yoghurt Baked Fish (not sure about the full name)
Desserts: Greek Yoghurt Panna Cotta with Ouzo and Strawberries
Loukoumades-Greek Style Doughnuts with Lemon Gelato and Walnut Praline
I love the presentation of all the food. Attactive looks always drive people to eat more .I tried some of each, and most of them are delicious. Olive’s Mezze, Calamari and Loukoumades are nice. But I'm just not so much into the lamb pie, since I prefer lamb rack or lamb chop, instead of minced lamb.
