Spent my fine evening with my sweet one at Bloop, where wine, tapas and aquarium served us well. Aquarium it is! The establishment features an 8-meter wide aquarium with baby sharks 🦈cruising around as if they were greeting every visitor as they swam past, quite an unique scene in Lan Kwai Fong!Wine and tapas pairing was our theme for the night. Started with Sea-salted Padron Peppers, which went absolutely well with chilled rose wine🥂 from Provence, followed by Seafood Hush Puppies, Fried Calama

Wine and tapas pairing was our theme for the night. Started with Sea-salted Padron Peppers, which went absolutely well with chilled rose wine🥂 from Provence, followed by Seafood Hush Puppies, Fried Calamari and Anchovies. Baby sharks kept swimming by as if they too couldn’t resist the lust of food and drink temptation.
For me, Siberian Caviar with White Anchovies nicely lying on a crunchy bed of brioche championed with both its presentation and taste.
Baby sharks 🦈kept having fun while we continued to indulge ourselves with Primitivo🍷, full-bodied wine best known of its chocolate and berries flavors produced in Salento from Italy, simply meant to be with Homemade Albondigas and nicely-made Takezumi Burgers, both signatures from Bloop.
Overall the dining experience at Bloop was quite pleasant, we called it a night as we reached their outdoor balcony enjoying the nice panoramic nightview of the Lan Kwai Fong landscape.
