When I first saw the place, I was skeptical about the food but since I'm open to try new restaurants I tried it out.Ordered:1) Baked Oysters- Really good. 2) Baked Escargots- Tastes a bit muddy...but the mashed potatoes are really tasteful.3) Angel Hair with Spicy Sausages- Surprisingly good. When I first saw the place, I was skeptical about the food but since I'm open to try new restaurants I tried it out.

Ordered:
1) Baked Oysters- Really good.

3) Angel Hair with Spicy Sausages- Surprisingly good. The whole combination of angel hair with spicy sausages are very well done and the angel hair is cooked perfectly.

4) Chocolate Molten Cake- One of the best chocolate molten cake I've had so far (in HK). The sweetness is perfect (not too sweet) and surprisingly the cake is a bit crunchy *thumbs up*

Overall, I really enjoyed the food there. Also, service was really gd as well and food came pretty fast (I am a sucker for waiting for food to come hahahaha). I guess you really can't judge the book by its cover
I will definitely come back to Max Joy Cafe in the near future with friends and family and am very sure will order the chocolate molten cake again.
