This evening I was going to have omakase experience at one restaurant my friends told me about and it is WA-Theater restaurant at the hotel called Pier. It is very nice of them to serve some tea as soon as you get there and even their tea is special, made on Shirakami Sanchi Water, thats how it gets its unique taste.

Then chef comes and starts preparing my first round, appetisers.
First of all, I must say that they all are so beautiful. I had 3 kinds of them.
合桃豆腐 - it is small, which you can finish in one bite and is very soft.
蟹肉炸蓮藕球 - many crab meat here on top, with fried lotus root , very tasty and sweet
鮮蝦、帶子、鮑魚,柿子杯配芝麻豆腐醬 - this was cute and surprising, persimmon was very sweet and juicy, also have some seafood inside, with
芝麻豆腐醬 it was a very good match!

After I finished, chef was ready to make sashimi for me. My set had 5 sashimi. 八爪魚刺身、秋刀魚、大拖羅、北奇貝、仙鳳趾 真蠔
I like 大拖羅 very very much, the fat was melting in my mouth in seconds, I really like this feeling.
秋刀魚 is the second one I like, because not always have this sashimi, meat is soft and Chewy.
And the most eye catching one is oyster. Fresh and sweet, one piece put it in mouth feel very full and blissful..

After something cold, we have something hot now. And the A5和牛西冷 is really good too, just like the 大拖羅, I really like to feel rich of fat and the feeling of melting in mouth. Also with the little sweet sauce, can make the wagyu taste more strong. And after having sashimi, get something hot, makes you feel very good.

Next one was 慕容白子鍋. This is something special, maybe some people don’t know what is it. But I like this pot too~ 白子 don’t have too many taste , so need to have a good soup. And 白子 I usually eat as sashimi, but I was surprised that even after they cooked it, it was still very soft and creamy too. So if you are first time to try this, maybe this pot is good for you!

Hot foods continue coming and this time is 鮟鱇魚肝鍋. Its another pot and a little bit different. It looks like not very special, but after you try.. wow~ the soup is really sweet! Because they grind the 鮟鱇魚肝 and cook it with many fish. You will get rice too and they will suggest you eat it with pot ~ if your stomach still has some space, you better eat all the rice with soup!

After two awesome pots, have 7 sushi now to try. They are : 金目雕、鰈魚 、金線雕、石援貝、毛蟹、虎蝦、海膽 。All of these are what I had in my set. The crab one and the urchin one are most attractive.
They need to spent time to make crab meat out, also can feel crab is fresh. And urchin mix with some seagrass, this is some special way to make it by chef. And of course the most important is urchin, because its fresh and without any bitter!
And the chef is really good, after we have some chat about 白子, then he make 1 sashimi for my friend and let him try it! This is the first time he tried it, and he said it’s good too and that surprised me! He is foreigner and I was worried he will not like it because of other tastes.

As we finished with sushi, we had last hot dish. It was a soup with fish. Soup itself was rich in flavour and fish was tasty as well! It is a good soup to finish your dinner. We enjoyed it slowly while talking with amazing chef and also their manager who told us many interesting things about their kitchen. People there are very hospitable and friendly!

Unfortunately it was time to finish and as our last food we got dessert! I like desserts very much and they gave us pudding with a slice of very juicy, sweet and fresh melon! It was the best to finish all this experience we had. Pudding was creamy, tasty and melon.. you could literally drink it, thats how juicy it was!

Overall i would really recommend everyone to come here to get amazing experience! Im sure that I will come here again too, because they try hard on their menu and foods. Quality is good and everything is extremely fresh. I also want to thank their chef and manager, for making our evening so amazing and fun!
