Sunday afternoon tea buffet with my good friend here. The lounge is facing sea view, but just a lot of traffic on the road as well. It is relaxing and you can sit from 1pm to 5pm for buffet. there is a lot of food, though the choices are not a lot. it is good enough for afternoon tea. there is a hot section with congee, cantonese dim sum, middle estern food, etc. a lot of selection for desserts with low sugar options as well. some vegetable dishes are good as well. For me, I like the congee and the cantonese dessert soup with silver fungi.
i especially like the hazelnut scone, some puff, etc. The scone is very soft, good texture and flavorful, not very oily or buttery. Some desserts like chocolate pie and lemon pie are good. Their tea is really good, I like the italian almond tea with almond flavor. But the sushi is not that good - I would try to avoid it.
In the end i ate 9 plates in total and was very full. $319 per person, it's better than a lot of other food, that costs even more.
