To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

昨天有8人同行，以為會有很多食物，點知得前菜、BBQ任食及火焰雪糕，全部都係低成本食物，完全不合格，不值$300幾蚊。例如前菜方面，只有沙律配菜、西式湯及甜品，我相信只有煙三魚是最名貴的。BBQ任食方面有23款食物，有蝦、帶子、青口、秋刀魚、三文魚柳、三文魚胶、紅鯛魚、魷魚串、西冷牛肉、羊扒、燒排骨、牛肋骨、牛仔腸、雞翼、腎串、雞軟骨串及燒蔬菜，全部唔新鮮又唔好食。最後有火焰雪糕，又硬又唔好食。我們今次晚餐，($298+$40) ＊ 8 人為總數$2,704，以這種價錢，我們可以食很好食物，經過今次，不會再有下次。
