We visited Macau last weekend and wanted to try the Grand Buffet after reading so many good reviews about it. However, it was a total disappointment. To put it simply, it was the WORST buffet I have ever tried. -Arrived at reception at 6pm, already there were long queues of patrons waiting to get in. We had made advance booking , so could get in after making our way through the crowd at the entrance. -Each person was given refill of water only as there was no free flow of soft drinks or coff
-Arrived at reception at 6pm, already there were long queues of patrons waiting to get in. We had made advance booking , so could get in after making our way through the crowd at the entrance.
-Each person was given refill of water only as there was no free flow of soft drinks or coffee/ tea. Each person can only get ONE free glass of lemon tea or coffee / tea. This is BAD. Never heard of buffet with no free flow of drinks.
- Alaskan crab legs: Way too salty, with buttery taste. I could not even eat more than one piece.
- Fresh oyster: Ok, but small in size.
- Sashimi : The salmon & tuna are NOT fresh at all. The worst sashimi I have ever tasted !!! Had to spit out the fish because of bad taste.
- Prawn Tempura: The is not tempura, but some hard prawn fritter??
- Fresh boiled shrimps: Not doubt the shrimps look big but the taste is BLAND.
-Roasted pork: So-so, the skin is just too hard.
Conclusion: I cannot think of anything good except maybe the parma ham & coffee jelly. It is not worth the money spent . I would NEVER go back there again .
