We came here for dinner at the end of june. there were 6 of us and one of us had been here a few times and recommended this place. we ordered a lot of food : 牛仔骨, 燒排骨, roast pigeon, pig knuckle, curry beef brisket, fish, stir fried clam in black bean sauce, giant clam, 2 types of veggie, baked prawn, stir fried pork chop w/ onion, garlic bread & rolls. the bill came to $1,1xx !!! we couldn't believe how cheap it was (considering we ordered so much). however, the taste was only so-so. but i gue

We came here for dinner at the end of june. there were 6 of us and one of us had been here a few times and recommended this place. we ordered a lot of food : 牛仔骨, 燒排骨, roast pigeon, pig knuckle, curry beef brisket, fish, stir fried clam in black bean sauce, giant clam, 2 types of veggie, baked prawn, stir fried pork chop w/ onion, garlic bread & rolls. the bill came to $1,1xx !!! we couldn't believe how cheap it was (considering we ordered so much). however, the taste was only so-so. but i guess for this price, it was a bargain. also, the owner & his brother were very hospitable - then went around chatting w/ the guest. his brother even brought out his guitar & started to sing. all in all, the environment was very good - very relaxing & fun. the owner walked around w/ a keg of Port wine and treated the guests to a glass. if the food was better, i would definitely go back. i don't think i would go back to this place but i think it's ok to try at least once.

p.s. if going during the summer, u can reserve a table inside - there's a/c; otherwise, it's all outdoor seating and can be quite hot.

also, the garlic bread is very good!! must have.
