This is a very home-styled dish from Shanghai, and is often eaten with savoury rice which is made with vegetables,mushrooms and rice.

Ingredient and Portion
Fresh pork chops with bones 5 pieces
Seasoning
Marinade:
Light soy sauce 1tbsp
Minced garlic 1tsp
sugar 1/2tsp
wine 1/2tsp
five spice powder pinch
potato starch or corn starch pinch
Method
Using back of knife,pat onto pork chops to loosen its texture. Trim away tendons.
Put marinade(except starch) and let rest for 15 mins or longer.
Coat pork chops with a thin layer of starch and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Tips
Oil for frying should not be too hot as pork chops will burn easily and become dry and hard.
