Birthday celebration

It was a family affair and we had a chill time at this restaurant. Ambience was comforting and relaxed. Service was good with staff being attentive and courteous. We had a special request for our birthday girl and they tried their best to accommodate. It was overall a wonderful night.Beef was nice and tender. It was a big enough to share for three people. Good presentation. Delectable.The lamb shank was a truly comfort food. It was nice and tender. Beautifully presented with beans and couscous.

Pasta with olive oil and garlic sauce was a custom made pasta for the night. Excellent flavour and portions. Likewise, the risotto was made just right with added scallops.

The tomato as a salad side dish was quite satisfying with interesting ingredients and flavour. The Brussel sprouts was how I would normally have made it, with bacon pieces.

To finish the night, tiramisu and bread and butter pudding. Thank you for the lovely gesture of a birthday candle and chocolate engraving that went with the tiramisu. Tiramisu was light and fluffy mixed with the richness of cream and a hint of coffee. Pudding was just beautiful.

一個月後重來，食物水準差左

至從上個月同朋友食過好味+好抵(因爲有AE40%discount)之後就立即訂8月最快有位既星期二，即8月6日同老公試多次。一黎到就有位，不用等。坐低之後發覺張枱底超低，連翹腳都唔夠位(我慣左翹住腳食飯)所以要要求換另一張枱(甘大個女第一次遇到呢個問題), 不過呢個只係小問題，好快餐廳就解決左。今晚我倆叫左有：頭盆1) 鵝肝醬+餅乾 (味道一般，老公覺得唔夠香濃)2) mussels (味道幾好，不過的肉超細，我地叫左細份，覺得好似無乜野食甘)熱熏1) steak - 好juicy, 好味, 值得一試2）pork belly - 餐牌話燉左48小時，雖然舊肉算淋，但未至於似燉左好耐既淋，之前試過其他餐廳類似菜式係入口即溶，但呢度無。 說穿了，呢個只不過係似切得大舊d既中式燒腩仔，不過做得好鹹，送飯就ok，我同老公都要不停飲水。一碟有四舊，食左3舊之後發覺真係頂唔順要同餐廳投訴，餐廳解釋可能今晚重手左。甜品1) hazelnut icecream - 依然好味，不過偏甜，適合外國人口味2) raspberry sorbet - 酸酸地，舊sorbet好解膩，底層係whip cream +

题外话/补充资料： 1) 因爲pork belly太鹹，經過投訴後，餐廳為補償便主動簽左我地之前叫既兩個甜品(@$75each)，經理好識做。值得一讚！ 2) 今晚又有40%discount,所以超抵！ 3) 今晚坐既範圍比較少枱，所以無上次甘嘈，不過身旁放左一部大型坐地冷氣機，同餐廳環境格格不入，好似去左大陸甘。 4) 如果要泊車先上網查定合和中心停車場入口位置，千萬唔好信餐廳所講係皇后大道東入口，因爲你唔會搵到。
