Beef & Liberty, which originated from Shanghai (woo hoo, Shanghai pride) is the newest edition to the bustling foodie haven that is now possessing Star Street precinct in Admiralty. Beef & Liberty takes pride in serving hormone-free grass fed beef burgers! The ambiance is fun, casual, yet bustling with food and noise. Its a burger joint with a casual vibe and a selection of burgers (served in a soft sourdough bun, or in a bowl for the health conscious), various fries (and sauces), wings, sides,
We ordered two burgers to split for the three of us! We ordered the set meal..Which was barely over $100 HKD!! So cheap...for a side of fries and soft drink. Classic Beef Burger w/ Cheese, a side of Black Pepper Fries | The beef patty is perfectly cooked. Soaked in the cheese and sauce. It's great...but a bit on the smaller size. Perhaps it was because we split everything. The fries were alright...but nothing too spectacular! Lamb Burger | $95 HKD | A New Zealand lamb patty with harissa yogurt, parsley, butter lettuce, tomato and a special sauce. The lamb burger was loaded with flavour, but not my cup of tea! But the others loved it.
Overall, Beef and Liberty is a great spot to go with your friends. It's a loud, fun environment. Great for grub, drinking, and chatting! Food itself is cheap. But somehow we were still hungry. I'm still hunting for my burger joint in Hong Kong! I'll probably be back though! If you haven't gone. You should go try.
