What an experience to talk about after dining in. Not a surprise that it took 3-4 tables waited before sitting in on weekend especially today was the first day releasing the consumption voucher. Anyway I still gave it some time.
Seeing couple tables of customers having troubles making their order via the QR code went for their closest staff, the cashier for assistance. The cashier made it clear every single time loudly that she could not help due to busy with the payment and arranging those who were queuing to sit in. (Sadly, there's no need for any of the two duties yet at that moment.)
The wait wasn't as long. It took 5 minutes. After properly seated, I started reading through the menu. Again the table next to me made a wrong order accidentally via the QR code and asked for a change for what they wanted. The responsible staff yelled loudly to the cashier to print their receipt out proving its their mistake instead of staff's. (Customers were asking politely and softly while they wasn't blaming of staff's fault just would like to make a change due to wrongly ordered in the complicated system.) Customers insisted to change what they wanted with well manner. Staff spoke loudly that it would take forever and you better be prepared. Better double or triple check on your next order before pressing confirm.
Staff came to my table and suddenly took away my menu. I told the staff I was still reading it. Would make the order after. Staff suddenly raised her voice and ordered loudly that I would make the order for you if you need. I again responded no need at this moment and will order now. Staff left while she actually worked with the slowest pace compare other staff, responsible for serving food. Why were you rushing my order while you were just pacing around the restaurant? Plus, menu gave varieties that indeed it took some time to read through.
After sending out the order, curry rice came immediately. Curry rice was warm. Apart from 2 pieces of carrots and few onion slices, basically there's no other toppings. Very watery instead of thick and well to mix with rice. When spooning with rice, it became soup rice instead. Flavour side, it was just typical Japanese curry side. Not spiced and on a sweet side.
Ramen came in 3 minutes. It was served hot. Pork cartilage was nothing special. Tender and some parts were a bit tough. Very savoury. Soup was very salty and strong umami flavour. I was feeling incredibly thirsty after. Ramen noodles was nothing special again. Similar to store bought one. It was topped with an egg in half, black fungus and spring onions.
Honestly, food quality didn't worth the wait. Service perspective, I would say I couldn't find one thing to make a compliment. Even using QR code has been an ease for labour and sometimes it lessened the service experience, but what I experienced and witnessed were extremely disappointing that I do not think there's a reason to come back.
