went to restaurant to eat Hot Pot as price was 118 hkd per person. Food was okay but when coming to pay for bill wanted to charge us 158 hkd as they say it was weekday price but on the board outside nothing states this. Spoke to manager and they just gave us a menu to say it states this there and just walked away to let us look at it. Asked another manager as we were not happy about the price and said they are unable to do anything about this as price is final. Asked 3rd manager who went away and came back and advise they will charge us 138 hkd each. We were more puzzled as normal as dont know why they charged us 20 dollars less but decided it was still better than paying 158 dollars. Service after that went downhill from there as we had 3 managers standing near us keeping an eye on us. One manager then approached us and wanted us to pay for the bill first while still eating. After told them that we will finish eating first he kept on staring at us and not going away. I told him we will pay bill once finished our dinner but this manager was being very rude to us.
After this experience we would not go to this restaurant anymore as service was terrible and managers showed no sign of customer service skills. I dont know where they learned there customer service from but they certainly need to go back to retrain and maybe rethink if they are suited to working in a restaurant. One unhappy customer and one lousy restaurant that is has poor standards.
