Not my first time here and will not be my last.  There are other choices on the beach but we went "We want some Thai"Love restaurants that you can walk off a sandy beach and into a place that won't mind you making a mess.We got a pot of Tom Yum Kung, Minced pork wrapped w lettuce, Pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, Grilled garlic prawns, Morning glory, Mixed vegatable, Green curry chicken.I partically am very impressed with the Green curry chicken. The High Tide is extremely recommended. I got a table immediately without making a reservation on Sunday-they managed to accomodate us as compared to the other restaurants who were very snooty. Tom gave us excellent service and with kids that is highly appreciated.I would recommend this restaurant even for the food and drinks. They never said No for anything and tried their best to adjust the flavours of their good for us.

The location is beautiful - a mere 15 minute taxi ride from Tung Chung Station - and how nice a beach! A very horrible experience at the end of a good hike. We should have known, given that on a Saturday night, only 3 tables were filled, and 1 of them was the owner/manager's friends and family.Service was bad: (a) Waitress got our drink orders wrong; can't tell difference between San Miguel and Stella (ordered Stella, got San Miguel) for one. Attracted to stop over for a young coconut and singapore laksa on the menu.Top of the coconut was nicely cut, it's a great pleasure drinking such a fresh natural drink while enjoying the beautiful scene of the beach. Hope to have a laksa next time.Restroom was well and comfortably kept.
