Extra Yummy Burgers

Went there as a group of friends - all of us had different items and you honestly cannot tell these are meatless burgers. The food is extra yummy, special shoutout to the fries (McDonal's style), which are of the highest quality. This amazing culinary experience is perfectly combined with drinks and classic tunes, courtesy of the bar hosting Big Dill. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for good burgers and a chill night out with your pals!

Burger was good!

Went there for happy hour! Staff were very friendly, drinks were great but most of all the burger was amazing (and it’s vegan too!) will definitely go back soon! I heard the vegan mac n cheese was very good too! Great spot for lunch and happy hour! Loved it

Great vegan bar food

Difficult to find good vegan western street food in HK. That is why so pleased to know this place offers berf/chicken burgers, lamb wraps, pork pulled sandwich and mac&cheese and they are all vegan! We have been there twice.. and Will definitely come back for more!

A great initiative to encourage more meat free dining especially towards those who may be turned off by the often “healthy” advertising of many restaurants. Perhaps I went in with too high of expectations - looks at previous reviews were incredible and raved about everything. I was prepared to have my mind blown!

Don’t get me wrong - the food is tasty. It could just be that I have far too much knowledge of how vegan food is prepared or made but I found myself knowing what ingredients were in the dishes - which is not a bad thing and not a dig at the restaurant at all. Everything is house made so it is expected! Just wish for the piggy Smalls the jackfruit taste was not as apparent though. The giveaway was the slightly tangy taste and how some parts were not thoroughly pulled apart.

Mac and Cheese ($45) is a classic pub food staple which has been made vegan. Pretty hard to mess it up 😂 I think an option to spice it up a bit more with tempeh, chilli, chives or even vegan bacon would be a very nice idea.

The portions of the food are also on the smaller side for the price. However, after the meal we found ourselves to be rather full - I believe this may have been because the food was a bit greasy. Not necessarily a bad thing given that we are in a bar, after all, but if it was a touch bit lighter on the oil from the frying that would have elevated many of the dishes too.

We were also given a sample of their upcoming dessert, which they described to be a donut with Oreo and jam, served with whipped cream. This surprised me and turned out to be one of my favourites of the night: as the dish is still unreleased they are still working on final touches and feedback from customers. One of the donuts were slightly over cooked and the other one under - but I’m sure once they nail this this is going to be a favourite. Best eaten with the whipped cream served with it 😋

It’s worth a visit if you’d like a more gentle introduction to vegan food rather than going full on with the kale. Given that they are relatively new it is understandable that there will be tweaks that need to be made to the dishes. There is a lot of potential in this restaurant though and I hope given time there will be some small improvements so that it becomes a fan favourite!

I brought my family to this place at night for a meal. The environment is chill, friendly staff. They offered a few vegan burger choices and two snacks.

For appetisers, we all agreed that the ‘mac and cheese’ is a must-order if you visited this place. It’s topped with crunchy truffle crumble. The taste of truffle is not too strong, the flavour of it balanced well with the smell of the cheese. Great for sharing!

🍔The “BIG DILL” burger has ‘beef’ patty, vegan cheese, onions and pickles. It comes with house-made sauce and meat-free patty. It’s vegan friendly yet looks and tastes just like beef!
The burger bun is soft, the patty is tender, it totally satisfied my parents’ crave for burgers.

🍔The “SIDE CHICK” burger - the soft brioche bun is filled with fried buttermilk ‘chicken’, vegan cheese and pickles, and it’s topped with mayo & Louisiana hot sauce. The chicken is crispy on the outside, it made a good combination with the sauce.

🌯ZEUS GYRO - This ‘lamb’ wrap is stuffed with french fries, cucumber🥒, tomatoes🍅, onions. The vegan meat really looks like lamb meat! The ‘meat’ is tender and juicy. The creamy garlic sauce creates extra flavour to it.

    The bigdill and side chick taste so good and juicy, you wouldn’t know it’s vegan if it’s not said in the menu. The interior atmosphere is good for having small private party. The bar provides variety of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Cocktails with bar food is the best way to spend Friday night with couple of friends there
