Chip in Fish & Chips (已結業)

知道間嘢都開左一陣，今日懶懶地決定買返屋企試下。我地 order 咗 Fish & Chips, Calamari & Chips, Onion Ring, Deep Fried Oreo。點知個 Chips 一咬落去成口油，Fish 咬落去啲肉質好實，粉醬好厚，Onion Ring 完全食唔到洋蔥味，又係得粉醬味，Calamari 好硬。唔知係咪已經難食到無感覺，個 Oreo 係還可以放落口食嘅。總之真係好難食。可憐我個女之後半個鐘已經因為油得滯肚痾😓😓唉，呢間嘢真係要 black list 咯！

琴日去灣仔利東街睇燈飾，途中經過呢間主打英國野食fish and chips既外賣店。呢間店既裝飾好有英國Brighton 既海邊感覺。原本打算下次試下因爲啱啱食完野，但見到佢竟然有deep-fried oreo就入去買咗一份試下。好驚喜香港竟然有得食，因為對上一次係係英國一個細市集食到，所以二話不說就買咗份黎試。不過拎到上手就見到佢偏油，有少少失望。一咬落去，唔知係炸耐咗定點，個質地口感偏稀，同係英國食既有啲唔同。其實overall還可以，難得香港有得食，只係可能我期望太高。

對於新穎食品，友人向來都好有興趣同勇氣去嘗試，今次比佢拉左去試呢個全港首創炸oreo滿心歡喜咁等待$20三塊嘅炸oreo可能個個人口味唔同，講真我地食落第一啖嘅感覺就係覺得好唔match.....皮還皮餅還餅咁。雖然好創新幾有諗頭，但食落真係失望左

The fish we had was watery and tasteless. It was sold as cod but the texture was not what you would expect. The batter was crispy on the outside (good) but stodgy inside (bad). The chips were average (not crispy enough). The squid was rubbery and underwhelming. The mushy peas were not ‘mushy peas’ but an attempt to make them that largely failed. This place won’t last unless they really up the quality of their produce and ability to cook it.

Chip in Fish & Chips is famous in SK and now they have branched into Wanchai.They serve a wide range of butties and chips for $48 and of course their signature fish and chips for $48.I was quite shocked it was affordable being in Wanchai.Anyway, I got the sausage butty and chips.The chips seem to be chunkier than the ones in SK but then I haven't been to SK for ages so I don't know.Anyway, they were nice with salt and vinegar.The bap was crispy as it was toasted like a panini, a bit different fr
